Om Lauren
I have many years of 2D motion graphics experience. I have done both commercial and narrative work, such as working for clients such as Ensora Health to create animated branding material, to creating animated sets for live performances.
As someone who started as an oil painter and script writer, I am also always evolving my creative skills. I believe in being as versatile as possible, because it is empowering to know you can turning little idea into a whole movie.
I am an American who has recently moved to Denmark, and have worked with clients around the world. In my freetime I also host Paint and Sip events around Copenhagen where I teach watercolor and while people relax and meet each other.

Are you looking for a new way to tell stories, a new skill or a new line of work? I can help you. Animation and motion graphics are all around us, and are always in need.
I can teach you the entire adobe package, from designing in Illustrator and Photoshop, to animating in After Effects, to video editing in Premiere. I also can show students new media technology. I have professional experience in creating interactive animations in free softwares such as TouchDesigner, Blender and Unreal Engine. The tools are at our fingertips, and I can show you amazing ways to use your creativity.
I do project based teaching. For beginners we start by following a project I have created, and we learn the tools of the software every step of the way. For more advanced students I encourage working on a project of their own idea and I facilitate a plan to accomplish it. Whether beginner or advanced, each student will be encouraged to add their own creative spin on their projects. It is important to me that you know how to take an idea from beginning to end and have the tools to trouble shoot along the way.
Classes will be more than just a tutorial, and at the end of working with me, I hope you will not only have new skills but a showreel unique to you to put out into the world.
