George Chiper-Lillemark director of photography /film director
Biography George is a Romanian director of photography and director based in Copenhagen. He studied philosophy at the Bucharest University and cinematography at the Romanian National Film School. George collaborated almost exclusively in auteur and experimental endeavors, developing a taste for exploring the function and the paradoxes of the visual realm and cultivating a sensibility for space as a manifestation of a transcending presence. Notably he directed together with Monica Stan ”Imaculat” that received at the Venice IFF, the Luigi de Laurentis Award and as a cinematographer he explored with Adina Pintilie the visual manifestations of intimacy in “Touch Me Not” Golden Bear Winner at 2018 Berlin IFF.

At a deeper level I can offer and help with the development of a film project starting from script and character development and going further to production planning and searching for the mise-en-scene, color and visual concept.
