Om Serban Andrei
I have published my first novel when I was 30, ten years ago, with an American publishing house, which also accepted two following promotional short-stories. Soon after, I decided to prove myself to the Romanian public and published two more novels and a short story. For those, lacking a decent publishing house to work with, I have co-founded my own, a business that is still successful and ongoing (cruxed.ro). At the moment, I am almost finished with my third novel which will be published soon as well.
I am fluent in English (still learning Danish) and I plan to go international again as soon as possible. I am also a fan of classical literature, a reason why I don't endorse or publish writers who are stingy with words and prefer the more modern, "journalistic" style of writing. If you choose to take my classes, we will discuss the topic of being thorough and descriptive in much detail.

I like to adapt my teaching method to the individual, depending on their level, their knowledge and their personality. That being said, no matter the approach, I prefer to split all aspects of writing and discuss them individually.
- Characters: how to create compelling, believable and relatable heroes.
- Backgrounds, setting and world-building: what defines and makes a good world for your characters to live and interact in.
- Style: the importance of keeping a story in the literary universe and the difference between casual communication and artistic expression.
- Personal touch: how to be as original as possible today, when almost everything has already been used and adapted.
