Om Camilla
I started violin at the age of 4 and trained at the Yehudi Menuhin School in England, one of the world’s leading institutions for classical music. My teachers included Berent Korfker (Professor at the Royal College of Music) and Lars Bjørnkjaer (Concertmaster at the Danish Royal Opera House).
Alongside violin, I studied piano, composition, improvisation, and ensemble playing, which gives me a broad musical perspective I bring into my teaching.
Today, I combine my classical background with a creative approach shaped by my work in visual art and electronic music. I enjoy helping students of all levels build confidence, expression, and joy in their playing. Whether you are a beginner or looking to refine your technique, I create lessons tailored to your goals.

I now focus on teaching intermediate-level violinists who are already playing and want to deepen their skills. My lessons are best suited to students who have a foundation and are working on repertoire — I can help with musical expression, interpretation, and technical refinement, offering a critical ear to guide practice and performance.
Because of this, I do not take complete beginners online, as I believe the violin requires hands-on guidance at the start. However, webcam lessons are an excellent way to receive feedback and direction if you are already learning and want to grow with confidence. My aim is for students to come away with clarity, motivation, and a stronger connection to their music.
