I have a BA in English grammar and literature and right now I am a teacher at the Halvorsminde efterskole in Denmark. I love trying out new wild things, like skydiving or surfing. I want to make a change through education, but I am also a devout international volunteer and have experience in building friendships with people from all walks of life

Do you often feel bored, tired or stressed when preparing for an exam or just doing homework? I can sell you a secret: learning can be engaging and fun just like video games or a party with friends. I can teach you not just English, but also how to navigate your learning style and own it.
My teaching methods imply the following:
- Tailored explanation techniques ranging from using real-life scenarios, visual materials to minigames.
- Grammar made easy through usage in real-life contexts.
- Complex text analysis through focus on grammatical and pragmatic features.
- Improving writing by combining grammar and vocabulary with your areas of interest.
- Gamification of tasks by creating a real learning trail to make monitoring your progress easier.
The first lesson plan would entail me assessing your learning style, current level and discussing a plan together. Then in the following lessons I would design engaging tasks that suit your learning pattern, while also guiding you through potential challenges you might have like anxiety, lack of confidence or focus. At the end of each lesson, you will get feedback on your progress.
I work mostly with people who have a language level of B1 or higher. I work with all ages starting from 7, regardless of profession or learning goal.
