Om Eva
I’m Eva, a Danish-American citizen who relocated to Denmark after graduating in 2023. With a B.S. in Education from the University of Virginia and an M.S. in Commerce, I bring a solid educational foundation and a passion for teaching to my tutoring practice.
My approach is centered on fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment. I utilize the Socratic method, encouraging students to think critically and articulate their ideas through open-ended questions. This method not only deepens understanding but also builds confidence in their abilities.
While I’m new to the Danish workforce, I have extensive experience working in high-pressure environments. I am highly organized and always seek better ways of working. My background includes administrative and project management roles during my studies, where I balanced an accelerated course load with various jobs.
I primarily tutor elementary to middle school students, focusing on English language skills, reading comprehension, and critical thinking. My diverse international background allows me to connect with students from various backgrounds, fostering collaboration and rapport.
I am committed to helping each student reach their academic goals while instilling a genuine love for learning. Together, we can navigate challenges and celebrate successes, ensuring a rewarding educational journey.

As a tutor, my goal is to create a personalized and engaging learning experience that empowers students to think critically and develop a love for learning. I believe in fostering curiosity and encouraging students to explore ideas through dialogue and inquiry.
