Om Atahan
I absolutely love learning and math has been my biggest passion for years! I’m currently doing my Master’s in Mathematics at The University of Copenhagen, and over the past 5 years, I’ve not only studied math deeply but also explored the ways to learn it as well.
I’ve tutored mathematics in English for over 3 years and taught Lindy Hop partner dancing for a year. I’m now sharing everything I’ve discovered about learning efficiently—with all the excitement and energy that comes from doing what I love.
Alongside my studies, I’ve worked with over 30 different organizations and been active in many volunteer projects. I’m also into specialty coffee, board games, Lindy Hopping, TTRPGs, and running.
I bring all this experience, focus, and curiosity into every lesson—so you get more than just a tutor. You get someone who’s been through the journey and is excited to help you grow too.

I don’t teach memorization — I teach understanding and how to study effectively. I use technology, clear explanations to show why things work in math not just memorize the formulas to ace your exams!
Each lesson includes:
→ a quick review
→ simple explanation of the topic
→ examples we solve together
→ practice time (If time permits)
→ a quick wrap-up and plan for next steps

I studied with Atahan during one of the most complex courses in advanced algebra—Advanced Vector Spaces—at the University of Copenhagen. His deep understanding of mathematics and exceptional ability to explain abstract concepts made a huge difference in my learning. I have no doubt he’ll be an outstanding math tutor.
