Hello and welcome!
My name is Nadya, and I’m a professional violist and passionate music educator with 21 years of experience in performance and teaching. I’ve studied and performed across Europe, collaborating with a variety of ensembles and chamber groups.
In my lessons, I create a supportive, structured, and inspiring environment, whether you’re preparing for auditions, refining technique, or learning music just for fun. I offer guidance in viola, violin, music theory, ear training, and audition preparation, all tailored to your goals and level.
Beyond music, I enjoy nature walks, cycling by the sea, exploring languages (I speak English, Danish, Ukrainian, and Russian), and experimenting with dessert making. I’m also passionate about personal growth and well-being, values that shape my teaching philosophy.

My teaching method stands out because I view each student as a unique individual with their own goals and needs. I don’t use a "one-size-fits-all" approach; instead, I tailor the lessons to suit the student’s level and objectives. I focus on making learning both fun and effective, meaning that technique becomes not only correct but also natural and inspiring.
I usually start each lesson by checking in on your mood and doing a short musical warm-up. Then, depending on your level, needs, and any specific questions you might have, we move on to the main part of the lesson. We focus on identifying and solving any challenges you may be facing, such as intonation, bowing, musical style, or other technical aspects. If you prefer, we can simply play music together and enjoy the experience.
As an empathetic person, I tailor each lesson to suit your mood and what you’re looking for that day. This means that every lesson will be unique and adaptable to your needs, creating a learning experience that feels both meaningful and fun.
My goal is to make music education a personal journey where you learn to express yourself through music. I teach viola and help with music theory, which we integrate into the practical lessons. I support you through every stage of the learning process, whether you’re a beginner, preparing for an audition, or looking to develop your skills to a professional level.
