Om Mélanie
A little about me... I started teaching when I moved to Canada in 2017. I always worked with kids as a social worker, mostly in schools. I also run a bilingual program. for 4 years.
I enjoy witnessing the evolution of each of my student, kids or adults, and it's always a pleasure to teach. I love my country, France will always have a special place in my heart, so I am more than happy to share the language and the culture with my students.
The first class is always based on knowing each other, I do believe that a tutor and a student is like any relationship and some are meant to happen and some not. Knowing you will allow me to base the class with your centre of interests too, which will make it more fun !

I use methodology books and games to teach. I also use reading books and videos. My goal is to make the class always fun, that keeps everyone engaged that way !
A typical lesson would start with a routine (easy questions, weather of the day...) and a quick talk regarding the last few days.
Then we would go through what we will learn on that day starting with a discussion, and audios. (oral expression + oral understanding)
To finally talk more in details about the lesson and practice with writing.
I have experience with kids as young as 4 years old, the discovery of the language is fully based on games and very basic vocabulary.
I also have experience with kids fluent in french but struggling with grammar, writing and spelling.
And I also have experience with kids/adults of all ages and all levels. I also teach for companies.
