Om Patrick
I am a native italian teacher in training and ESL tutor currently completing an International Honours Degree in teaching at Absalon University in Vordingborg. Thanks to my academic internships, I have 3 years of experience in Danish and International schools, working with different age groups and curricula. I am currently studying danish (level A2), so for now I prefer to communicate in English.
I prepare my lessons carefully and adapt them to each students’ needs and goals. I consider myself a honest, transparent and reliable person. Before becoming a teacher, I worked for many years as a pastry chef in different countries. This experience strengthened my intercultural awareness, communication skills, and organizational abilities.

I am Patrick, a native Italian teacher and ESL tutor currently completing an International Honours Degree in Teaching at Absalon University in Vordingborg.
My teaching method is student-centred, structured, and goal oriented. I believe that language acquisition is based on active and practical use. In this perspective making mistake is fundamental, not just acceptable or advisable.
A typical lesson includes a warm-up, a short explanation of the topic, and practical activities or games related to the chosen content. Influenced by a Nordic approach, I believe that group and pairs tasks, as well as students talk, should always be present and supported in regular lessons. I adapt each lesson to the student’s level, pace, and objectives.
I have 3 years of experience in International and Danish schools with different curricula and teaching approaches. My lessons are suitable for primary and secondary students, from beginners to advanced learners, and for anyone who needs structured support, exam preparation, or language development.
