I have always enjoyed working in hospitality, travelling and sharing knowledge with people from different backgrounds. Some of my favourite conversations start with simple questions such as: What is the best way to prepare a dish? Why do different Italian regions cook the same ingredient differently? And, of course, is Italian cuisine really the best in the world?
I love these discussions because food is never just about taste. It is connected to history, science, geography, traditions and personal experience. My goal is not to tell you what is “right”, but to give you the language, knowledge and tools to develop your own strong opinions, based on both experience and facts. I want you to build a critical eye, and palate, when talking about food and culture.
I especially enjoy teaching individuals and small groups, where there is space for conversation, questions and curiosity. Outside of work, I love physical activity, meeting new people and listening to different perspectives. I am patient, positive and naturally curious, and I want my lessons to feel relaxed, engaging and full of genuine conversation.

My approach to teaching Italian goes beyond traditional grammar exercises. I use food, gastronomy and Italian culture as practical tools for learning the language, creating lessons around real menus, restaurants, regional traditions, ingredients and everyday situations. With a degree in Food Technology, I also bring a scientific and structured approach to my teaching, connecting language with the history, science and culture behind Italian food. My goal is to make every lesson practical, engaging and memorable, so students learn Italian through real-life experiences and topics they genuinely enjoy.
