Om Laura
My journey with the English language spans over 17 years, but more importantly, it has evolved from a school subject into the language I live, study, and work in every single day. Pursuing a complex university degree abroad entirely in English means I don't just teach "textbook rules" - I teach the living, breathing language as it is used in real academic, professional, and everyday environments.
For the past 3 years, I have been actively teaching and tutoring students with diverse goals. I have guided teenagers through stressful school exams, helped adults finally break their mental speaking barriers, and provided strategic preparation for high-stakes international tests.
I know firsthand what it takes to master a language to an advanced, academic level and move to a new country. I understand the frustration of feeling "stuck," and I know exactly how to get you out of it. As a teacher, I am highly organized, empathetic, and invested in your progress.
My goal isn't just to teach you vocabulary - it is to give you the confidence to express your true self in English.

Let’s be honest: memorizing endless grammar rules from a textbook rarely helps when you actually need to speak. My approach is different. I believe learning English should be dynamic, logical, and deeply practical.
I use the 100% Immersion Method. Because I don't speak Danish, our communication will be strictly in English from the very first minute. Yes, it might feel a little challenging at first, but it is the absolute fastest way to force your brain to stop translating and start thinking in English.
What a Typical Lesson Looks Like
A lesson with me doesn’t feel like a boring school lecture; it feels like an engaging conversation where you happen to learn a lot.
+ We start with a relaxed chat to get you comfortable.
+ Then, we dive into the core topic - whether that’s breaking down a confusing grammar rule using simple logic, tackling a difficult school assignment
+ You do most of the talking. I am there to guide you, gently correct your mistakes on the go, and give you the exact vocabulary you need to sound natural.
I am incredibly patient, supportive, and completely focused on your result. Having navigated high-stakes academic environments and international exams myself, I know exactly how stressful language barriers can be. In my classes, making mistakes isn't just okay - it's required! That’s how we find your weak spots and turn them into strengths.
