Om Mariagiulia
I have 6+ years of experience in Design methods, principles, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Xd, After Effect) and Figma. I have a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design and Art Direction from Italy and a Master's Degree from Designskolen Kolding.
Most of my latest work has been within Digital and UI/UX Design. I have worked with companies and international NGOs to create engaging experiences and products, spacing from Visual Identities to interactive digital products. I have specialised in playful user-centred Design and have been focusing on designing interactive experiences. I am part of a Universal Design network, and I have been researching how to make inclusivity a pillar of the design process.
Being a multi-disciplinary designer means that I have knowledge of different software and can make associations between different branches of design. I can help you connect the dots during your learning journey and give cross-disciplinary feedback.

My approach is based on listening and adapting the learning experiences to your specific needs. I believe in "learning by doing" and in the power of trying, making mistakes and learning from them.
I have experience as a play-based facilitator and love supporting students to discover their full potential. I value good communication and believe that learning can be fun and engaging.
During the first free class, we will chat about your expectations and wishes and get to know each other. We will set some goals together, based on what you wish to achieve so that we can work towards them if you decide to continue. I am open to teaching design principles, methodologies and specific software. I can also support you with specific projects you are working on or school assignments. Let's talk about it! :)
I teach in English, but also speak intermediate Danish if sometimes needed :)
