Om Darina
My name is Darina and I am freshly done with my secondary upper education in Germany (ABI). I moved to Denmark to study here from next year on at the CBS (since this year I will focus on learning Danish and getting some work experience/doing extra courses like organization theory in July – and a semester as supplementary course in autumn) and live with my partner.
I come from Russia originally, moved to Germany at the age of 11- so I am fluent in Russian, English and German with some basic knowledge in French, Latin and Spanish, but also some beginners skills in Danish.
During my time at school I have been an active member of a student council within my Gymnasium, but also as a representative of my school on a state level. Outside of my education I spent plenty of time with voluntary work- I am one of the core members and organizers of a queer community meetings at my ex-school, where some of our goals for the project were visibility, awareness, education, creation of a safe space, public statement. Another project I initiated with the "HDJ" is a club for young Ukrainian refugees, where I was interpreting, while also doing all sorts of fun free-time activities with the kids/youths.
I am very enthusiastic when it comes to organization and social interactions, my first job was a social promoter for the UNHCR/UNO-refugee aid. I learned a lot about advertising and informing people.
I also did an apprenticeship in a kindergarten and an agency for design and advertisement.
I have also worked in such customer services as a café and a night club- both in the kitchen with a bunch of colleagues from different countries and at the bar with all sorts of diverse individuals, who I learned a lot from- like the different perspectives on life.
I have travelled a lot and gotten to know different mind-sets and cultures, approaches and priorities- which I find especially fascinating.
As a hobby I am doing LARP, where I also take part in the orga of events, while writing little plots and scenarios for game play.
I love being creative in general.
Time management and prioritization, analytical approach are also within my qualifications.
I am very interested in helping and contributing with my experience and energy. I love responsibility and thrive in challenges, hoping to learn new things and new ways of dealing with difficulties.
I am extremely hard working and dedicated to everything that I do.

I love inventing unconventional ways and personalize my teaching methods- It is amazing to see people grow and help them learn something new, get a better understanding of something or get in depth with their existent passions by just adding a little extra of team work and new methods. I love using iconic literature or music fitting to the students interest or practical hobbies in general-no matter whether sports/gaming/larp/books/movies..We will find a way to bond while getting through learning and finding passion for the subject.
