I am a 26 year old active jazz pianist and composer from Estonia, studying and living in Denmark. I started playing and studying piano when I was 6 years old, so by now I have been playing music for 20 years. I graduated children music school with classical piano and rhythmic percussion (drums, xylophone and other percussion). I then went to Music College in Tallinn and graduated it with pop-jazz piano. After that I enrolled at Syddansk Musikkonservatorium in Odense, Denmark and got my bachelor degree in jazz piano in 2021 June. Currently I am doing my masters in jazz piano and composition, I will finish in June 2023 and then will continue my studies in soloist level in Copenhagen or abroad.
I have tons of experience playing concerts, performing for a lot of people and also accompanying choirs, singers and ensembles.
I have been giving private lessons for 6 years now, both in Estonia and Denmark, to small kids and to more advanced students. Also, I have been working under some schools and institutes as a teacher or substitute teacher in Estonia while studying. I have also always had private students in Denmark, a few even now. I have experience with teaching in groups, like band lessons, ear training and all that similar, and also individual lessons. I have a lot of ideas that I have gathered through my studies in different countries, that I want to pass on to my students. I am very passionate about giving my knowledge to the them, who want to learn. Mainly, I like to work with students who are interested in jazz and rhythmic music world and are eager to learn, but I also enjoy giving classical piano basics and in general, piano playing basics, to beginners and students in all different levels and backgrounds. In addition to piano playing, I will be giving some music theory and composition basic knowledge, since I love to compose myself. I like to create beautiful, catchy, soulful melodies and blend them with modern, smooth, unique harmonies. I play mainly jazz, but listen to lots of different music like pop, hip hop, soul, funk, house, R&B, folk and classical. I love to play old traditional jazz and bebop, but also more modern stuff. I love to make different curriculum for every person, depending on his/her personality, interests, needs, background and mood. I always talk and discuss with a student in a nice way and count on his/her opinion.
