Om Matthew
I am a man from a small town in Scotland called Paisley, with a bachelor's degree in Political Science, and a focus on legislative policy.
I came to Denmark to pursue a career and achieve my masters degree.
Mainly the reason I want to work is, honestly, that since Brexit, I cannot claim any free education or any SU, so my continued residency in this beautiful country is entirely dependent on my ability to fund myself.
As working hard is a necessity here, you can be sure I will always put in the hard work to make sure you feel like my services are worth your hard earned kroner!
My prices are also fully negotiable and I give discounts for longer lessons or buying in blocks.

My teaching method is based on a multimethod approach, where media is used in conjunction with regular power-pointed lessons, worksheets and constant discussion to grow every aspect of your English language skill.
My particular focus is on helping people understand spoken English in a variety of native English accents, which is ideal if you want to travel the English speaking world.
Having come from Scotland to Denmark, I have become increasingly aware that most Danes speak a relatively competent level of English, however when dealing with accents that aren't the typical midwest American accent, you tend to struggle.
If you intend on travelling the world, for example in the American South, the UK, Australia or South Africa, you may struggle to understand anything outside of the English you've grown up learning on TV.
Additionally, as my degree focus for both my bachelors and masters are very writing heavy, and geared towards social analysis, I have a particular skill set centred around academic writing and a personal penchant for creative.
If you want to take your English a little bit closer to the skills of a native, write more eloquently or more clearly understand the English speaking natives of the world, I think I'm the teacher for you!
