Om Israel
Hi! I’m Israel, a native Spanish speaker from Spain currently living in Denmark, where I am pursuing a Master’s degree at DTU.
Even though i study Life Sciences, I have always enjoyed linguistics, communicating with people and sharing what I know, and teaching Spanish is a great way for me to combine both. I believe that learning a language should be an enjoyable and rewarding experience, rather than something that feels like a chore.
As someone who has also learned foreign languages, I understand how difficult it can sometimes be to move from understanding a language to actually feeling confident using it. That is why I want my lessons to be a relaxed space where you can make mistakes, ask questions and gradually become more comfortable speaking Spanish

My approach to teaching Spanish is mainly focused on communication and on learning the language in a practical way that can be applied to real-life situations. I like my lessons to be dynamic and engaging, so students can start using Spanish from the very beginning instead of focusing only on theory and grammar exercises.
I especially enjoy working through conversation, using everyday situations, topics that interest the student, and real examples. Depending on what you need, we can practise having conversations in Spanish, prepare for a trip, improve your pronunciation, expand your vocabulary, or work on specific grammar points.
I do not follow a rigid method. I adapt each lesson to the student’s level, goals and way of learning. I first try to understand what you want to achieve and which areas you would like to improve, and then I tailor the lessons accordingly.
As a native Spanish speaker and a Biochemistry graduate, I bring both a strong knowledge of the language and the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently. For me, learning a language is not just about memorising rules — it is about becoming comfortable using it.
