I always tell my students: “Making mistakes is not a problem—staying silent is.”
Learning English should feel natural, not stressful—and a little bit fun too.
With over 30 years of experience (yes, I’ve seen every grammar mistake possible—and survived!), I bring both knowledge and a sense of humour into every lesson. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and a Master’s degree in Linguistics, but more importantly, I know how to turn that knowledge into simple, clear, and practical learning.
How I teach (no boring lessons here!)
My lessons are structured but relaxed. We talk, we practice, we laugh, and most importantly—you actually use English. I focus on real communication, not just textbook rules. Whether it’s homework, exams, or everyday conversation, I make sure you understand—not just memorize.

As a teacher with 30 years of experience, my approach is student-centred, supportive, and adaptable to each learner’s needs. I believe that students learn best when they feel confident, understood, and actively engaged.
Teaching techniques and methods
I use a combination of structured learning and interactive activities, including conversation practice, reading comprehension, writing exercises, and vocabulary building. I focus on clear explanations, repetition where needed, and encouraging students to think independently. I also adapt my methods to suit different learning styles.
A typical lesson
A lesson usually begins with a short review of previous material, followed by introducing a new topic. We then practice through exercises, discussion, or real-life examples. I always include time for questions and feedback, and I end the lesson with a short summary or homework task.
My strengths as a teacher
I am patient, encouraging, and attentive to each student’s progress. I create a calm and positive learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. My long experience allows me to quickly understand each student’s needs and adjust accordingly.
