Om Surleac
With 14 years of vocal training and 7 years of experience working with the voice, I bring both a strong musical background and a personal understanding of the learning process.
I hold a Master’s degree in Music Education from the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen and have worked with students from 5 to 56 years old, from complete beginners to professional singers.
My experience in classical singing, vocal coaching and music education allows me to meet each student where they are.
My teaching is informed by different vocal and somatic approaches, including Complete Vocal Technique (CVT), Anne Rosing’s approach, Cheryl Porter’s vocal work, Fitzmaurice Voicework, Kristin Linklater’s method and Paul Newham’s Voice Movement Therapy.
I am passionate about helping people connect with their voices and express it more freely and confidently.

I believe singing should be a space where you can explore your voice freely, without judgment.
My teaching combines vocal technique with body awareness, breathing, movement and self-expression, always adapted to the individual student.
A typical lesson includes grounding with breathwork, warm-ups with vocal exercises, followed by work on songs and specific goals. We might explore technique, release unnecessary tension, work on confidence or simply discover new possibilities in your voice.
I teach students from complete beginners to professional singers, from children to adults.
Whether you want to learn how to sing, improve your technique, prepare for a performance, or simply feel more comfortable using your voice, I adapt the lessons to where you are and what you want to achieve.
What makes my teaching special is that I don't believe your voice needs to be "fixed". I want to help you understand it, connect with it and find more freedom in expressing yourself.
