Om Camilla
Currently, I am based at home with my father and sister. I have a home studio kitted with a grand piano and various other musical and electronic items.
My first study is violin however, I am a relatively accomplished piano player and offer my lessons to beginner players with ease. I was educated at the Yehudi Menuhin School which is world-renowned as an elite institution for classical music education. Our general classes included composition, improvisation, music history, music theory, choir, orchestra, and chamber music.
I spent 2012-2022 in higher education, gaining a BSc in Biomedical Science and completing 5 years of medical school between University of Bristol and University College London. All along, I worked as a private tutor in Maths, Science and Music (violin & piano). My experience with SEN students comes from working as a teacher in a challenging school environment combined with my personal experiences in life. Recently, I detached from my scientific pursuits to focus on music and aim for a career in electronic composition. I will be applying for a music Masters at the end of this year.
I offer you a unique experience as someone who has ventured through many avenues and integrated a diverse range of skills. I value clear communication and do my best to listen to your needs. You can trust that I will always serve you with your best interests at heart.

I have worked passionately as a private tutor for over 10 years with a specialty in youth beginner players and special educational needs/neurodivergent individuals. All are welcome regardless so please message me!
My students are a powerful source of joy and inspiration. In my teaching style, I prioritise setting a strong foundation of skills which integrates the mind and body. We talk about how the breath and musical communication are linked, as well as how to apply this practically and methodically in playing. You will gain a well-rounded education and in-depth understanding of the subject and of yourself in the process.
My objective is in the education itself – I want my students to leave with a sense of confidence and achievement, knowing that the skills they have acquired will serve them in all walks of life.
