Om Lachlan
- I have completed a bachelor's degree in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Sydney.
- I received First Class Honours for my Thesis titled " A 1-Dimensional Study of Quantum Tunnelling Through Static and Dynamic Potential Barriers".
- When I lived in Sydney I loved tutoring so much, I enjoy seeing my students achieve their own personal best and I believe that anyone can do it given the right support.
- I have been living in Copenhagen with my partner who is American for several months now and I am very excited to begin tutoring again!

Experience:
-3 years' experience of privately tutoring Physics and Mathematics to senior high school students.
- 3 years' experience working as a professional tutor for Math Words Not Squiggles in Sydney, here I taught students Mathematics from the ages 7-19 years old.
Teaching Method:
- I understand that every student is different, and different people learn best in a variety of ways. I commit myself to finding out how my students work most effectively, and then providing them with the framework and support to succeed.
- My approach to tutoring is to show my students the power and beauty of Mathematics. I believe that if people approach the subject with a curious mindset, learning everything becomes much more enjoyable.
Lesson Plan:
- Typically I have taught older students and as a result I usually let the student decide what they would like to work on. However, if I notice that a student does not have anything planned, then I will take time before the lesson to plan out what topics/concepts we will cover that day, providing the relevant exercises and solutions where necessary.
- For younger students who are in primary school I will take more of a lead, while also speaking with the parents to see where they think most time should be spent.
What I teach:
- I teach primary/elementary Mathematics up to Senior High School Mathematics.
- I also have experience teaching High School Physics, up to an introductory University course.
