Hi! My name is Vincenzo and I'm from Naples (yes, the birthplace of pizza). I currently live in Copenhagen, where I experience the beauty of the local lifestyle and sample delicious local pastries!
About my studies and experience: I earned a Master's Degree in History (from one of Europe's oldest and most prestigious universities), during which I gained experience as a private Italian tutor for non-native speakers, as well as acquiring the skills necessary to understand, learn, and teach a language during my studies.
I am currently developing a strong passion for everything related to geopolitics, anthropology, and the social sciences. So my desire to study hasn't waned yet!

I have gained two years of experience as a private Italian tutor since finishing university. More specifically, since I passed a major linguistics exam, which gave me the tools to understand the differences between different languages, to better understand how languages work, and how to study and teach them.
My methodology is quite simple yet effective and consists of a theoretical and a practical component. Lessons are typically structured as follows:
- The first 5-10 minutes are dedicated to a summary of what was covered in the previous lesson;
- A 25-minute theoretical introduction to a new topic;
- A 25-minute practical exercise in which we will put into practice together what we learned in the previous theoretical part of the lesson.
The exercises will focus on listening, writing, and speaking. We will read short (or long) texts from famous Italian books, listen to Italian podcasts or watch short videos in Italian, and speak in Italian as much as possible.
P.S.: Everyone is different, which is why the lesson structure can be adapted to the student's needs: some may need more practice, while others may need a more theoretical introduction to a new topic.
