Om Nora
Hi! I’m Nora, 25 years old and a Master’s student in Technical Design from the Netherlands. Alongside my studies, I’ve been tutoring high school students for over 8 years in mathematics, physics, and chemistry, at all levels and trained by a tutor institute in the Netherlands.
I’m an organized and energetic tutor who loves helping students not only understand the subject, but also structure their schoolwork and planning, something many of my students really appreciate. Thanks to my design background, I enjoy using hand-drawn sketches to explain difficult concepts in a visual and clear way.
Most of all, I believe learning should feel supportive and fun. I always take time to get to know you and create a relaxed space where we can laugh and enjoy the process together. School can be challenging, but when you feel at ease and engaged, you learn so much more.

Teaching techniques and methods:
I like to work with step-by-step approaches, especially in subjects like math and physics, it's important that students learn to break problems down clearly.
I always write my notes by hand during the session and give them to the student afterwards.
At the start, I ask how the student prefers to learn—by doing exercises, or by reviewing the theory first. This often takes some time to figure out, but eventually it becomes more natural and personalized.
What makes me a unique tutor:
I believe it's important to build a real connection with the student. Humor is a great tool for this, it helps create a relaxed atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing confusion.
Being young and energetic also helps me relate to students more easily. I always take time to talk about how they’re doing, what they enjoy, and their hobbies. This builds trust and engagement.
Who I teach:
I tutor high school students at all levels, mostly in subjects like math, physics, and chemistry. I’m happy to help with exam prep, homework support, or long-term guidance.
