Om Stuart
I'm a musician from New Zealand who's started a family here in denmark. I've played the drums since I was 10 and have always just loved the instrument. I'm a lefty so from day one I had to tear down my teachers drumset and set it back up so I could play. After awhile I started self teaching and learned how to play like some of my favourite artists.
Players like Mike portnoy, Danny Carrey. John bonham. Learning to play the drums more musically opened up a biggerpassion for them and now I'm a huge drum nerd and I can play some things I never thought I'd be skilled enough to play ever.
I have played in contests for people. In theater productions, and shows. And in churches. And other groups in NZ.
I love playing and can no joke play non-stop for up 5 hours If I have time.
Let me share with you the epic and wide world of drumming. It's huge and a blast.

I could just teach you how to whack things in time but great drumming is about so much more.
With me you'll learn how to really play.
Depending on your starting level. Oll make sure you and play key rudiments and hold a beat.
Next I'll show you how play some classic fills including ones from your favourite songs.
Once you can play some simple songs comfortably I'll show you how to expand and take it all up a notch and how to start improvising and creating your own music.
And on the way I'll make sure you understand some important concepts such as, playing with authority and flow, moving in a a way that will avoid injury, and most importantly how to tune and maintain the instrument.
My approach to teaching drums is about making sure you find passion for the instrument. And that you enjoy the learning process and helping you find a hunger for learning to play.
And when I say I can teach you anything I mean it.
