Om Anna
I was raised bilingually with Greek and Russian and later became fluent in English through studies and international environments. Along the way, I also learned Italian and Turkish, and I am currently learning Danish while living in Denmark. Because of this multilingual background, I understand the challenges of learning a new language and how important confidence, patience, and communication are in the learning process.
My academic background is in International Relations and Cultural Sociology, and professionally I have worked in communication, graphic design, UX/UI, and customer insights analysis. I enjoy combining creativity with understanding people and culture, whether through visual design, communication strategy, or teaching. My experience as both a designer and insights analyst has taught me how to explain ideas clearly, structure information in an engaging way, and adapt communication to different personalities and needs.
Outside work, I enjoy reading, fitness, going to the gym, kettlebell training, and spending my summers swimming in the sea in Greece. I love travelling, discovering new cultures and food, and meeting people from different backgrounds. Music is also a big part of my life, my taste ranges from jazz, funk, and R&B to techno, metal, pop, and folk music.
I would love to meet you and help introduce you not only to the Greek language, but also to Greek culture, everyday life, humour, traditions, and ways of thinking. :)

My teaching approach is flexible and adapted to each student’s goals and learning style. Whether you want to start speaking Greek quickly for travel or everyday life, or you are interested in learning the language in more depth, I adjust the lessons accordingly. As someone who speaks five languages myself, I understand the challenges of language learning and try to make the process practical, approachable, and motivating.
A typical lesson combines conversational practice, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, and real-life examples. My background in communication and design helps me create clear, structured, and visually engaging learning materials that make lessons easier to follow and more interactive.
Beyond language itself, I am passionate about Greek culture, history, literature, and society through my background in cultural sociology and international relations. For students interested in a more immersive experience, lessons can also include discussions about Greek culture, traditions, politics, and everyday life. I teach students of different levels and backgrounds, always aiming to create a supportive and enjoyable learning environment.
