Om Elena
Hi! I’m Elena, a native Spanish speaker from Spain, and I’ve been living in Denmark for the past year.
I have experience teaching Spanish and I have a degree in Psychology, with a particular interest in how people learn. I believe that learning a language should be much more than memorising grammar rules: it should be a chance to communicate, have fun and gradually feel more confident using the language.

My lessons are relaxed, interactive and adapted to you, but they are also carefully structured around your goals and learning needs. I use a mix of conversation, listening activities, real-life dialogues, interactive exercises and games to make learning engaging and effective. We can work on pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar and everyday communication, depending on what you need.
I also like bringing Spanish culture into the lessons through videos, music, films, books, interesting topics and real-life situations. Rather than simply studying Spanish, we might explore a song, talk about a scene from a Spanish series, play a language game or have a conversation about an aspect of Spanish culture.
I’m also learning Danish myself, so I know how strange and frustrating it can feel when you understand much more than you are able to say! My goal is to create a comfortable and supportive environment where you can speak freely, without being afraid of making mistakes or being judged. Mistakes are a natural part of learning, and I want you to feel comfortable trying, experimenting and finding your own way of expressing yourself in Spanish.
Whether you are a complete beginner, planning a trip to Spain, want to communicate with Spanish-speaking friends or family, or simply want to become more fluent, we can build the lessons around your goals, interests and pace.
A little about me: besides psychology and languages, I have studied art and music, so I’m a curious person with lots of different interests. I love discovering new cultures and talking about films, music, art, everyday life and all those little things that make a language feel alive.
